Allocasuarina paludosa (Swamp Sheoak)

DESCRIPTION: A hardy evergreen shrub or small tree with fine, needle-like green branchlets that provide year-round texture, complemented by small woody cones. It grows well in moist to wet clay or sandy soils, including swampy or seasonally waterlogged areas, and tolerates mild coastal conditions.

USES: An excellent, dense screening and windbreak plant, well suited to poorly drained sites and providing valuable habitat for birds.
